Nairobi is full of the oranges and earth and sky tones we associate with the African bush and the soft orange velvet lining to the inner grip of the lead makes a lovely textural contrast with the crisp wax cotton. And a quick hop across the ocean brings us to India which is where each collar charm hails from, made by traditional toy makers.  Each collar comes with a totally unique animal, some easily recognisable, some a bit weird and wonky but that’s all part of the fun and charm of these multi cultural designs.

The Scrufts African Wax Print Dog Lead is only available in 90cm length due to restrictions of the pattern and production of the fabric.

My Scrufts

Nairobi dog leads are made using African Wax print cotton, Swiss velvet, polypropylene webbing and a strong easy use trigger clip.

Handmade in my sunny Brighton studio with care and individually made especially for your dog, this design is EXCLUSIVE to Scrufts and is of course totally washable.

A guide to my sizing:-

XS is a 19mm wide dog collar x a generous 30-35 cm circumference, and perfect for small breeds such as daxis/cockerpoos/tiny terriers etc (Please note that I can also make this size smaller in circumference, so just message me on ordering)
Sm is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 35-40cm circumference and is great for chunky terriers/smaller spaniels etc.
Med is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 40-45cm circumference and perfect for spaniels/collies
L is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 45-55cms circumference and jut great for labs/retrievers/airedales
