Scrufts Kerala Dog Collars with Velvet Lining

My Scrufts Kerala Handmade Dog Collar with Velvet Lining is made using a lovely traditional print. Curated by a shop local to me in Brighton where I’ve been buying treasures from India for over 30 years.  That’s some loyalty !

Kerala comes in two subtly differing colourways :

1. Kerala Pink in deep raspberry with black and spicy shades of tumeric yellow, and

2.Kerala Tumeric in black with hints of plum and the spicy shades of tumeric yellow.

Both of these Scrufts Kerala Dog Collars would look spectacular on a rich deep black coat, but also a fabulous contrast on a creamy base.

As always an exclusive Scrufts heart shaped tag is my gift to you, along with a traditional Indian hand painted toy bird charm.  You can’t say a Scrufts dog collar doesn’t go the extra mile:)

It’s slightly ironic to think that when I was travelling in India in the late 1990’s I had access to all of their beautiful, traditional fabrics, but had no idea I would be making dog collars from it nearly 30 years later !  Life, huh …

A guide to my sizing:-

XS is a 19mm wide dog collar x a generous 30-35 cm circumference, and perfect for small breeds such as daxis/cockerpoos/tiny terriers etc (Please note that I can also make this size smaller in circumference, so just message me on ordering)
Sm is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 35-40cm circumference and is great for chunky terriers/smaller spaniels etc.
Med is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 40-45cm circumference and perfect for spaniels/collies
L is a 2.5cm wide dog collar x a generous 45-55cms circumference and jut great for labs/retrievers/airedales

This Dog Collar is made with Indian Cotton, Swiss velvet, polypropylene webbing, steel adjuster and stainless steel D ring and a hi spec clasp.
