It’s a different world all of a sudden and we all now need a face covering to enable us to carry on our day to day out and abouts. So I have designed a small (and ever changing!) selection of Scrufts C19 face masks
You probably all know how much I treasure this William Morris design and now I have it in this delicious strawberry red which, again, would look fantastic if you have white or blonde hair and bright blue eyes to peak out over the top. My Scrufts Red Strawberry Thief C19 Face Mask is made from double 100% cotton fabric, with an interfacing and there is a filter pocket in the reverse should you feel you need the extra protection. The soft jersey ear loops make wearing the mask that much easier.
Your C19 face mask is handmade in my sunny Brighton studio and is totally washable. However, IF you can’t wash the mask or need it in a hurry, then attack with a hot steamy iron to kill those germs !
C19 Face Mask. More about face coverings.
In the context of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, a face covering is something which safely covers the nose and mouth. You can buy reusable or single-use face coverings.
Face coverings are not classified as PPE (personal protective equipment) used in a limited number of settings to protect wearers against hazards and risks. Risks like surgical masks or respirators used in medical and industrial settings.
Face coverings are instead largely intended to protect others. Not the wearer, against the spread of infection. They cover the nose and mouth, which are the main confirmed sources of transmission of virus that causes coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
